myleadsafe works without an account. What you enter stays on your device.
What stays on your device
Property addresses or nicknames, unit names, years built, certificate dates, inspector names, fees, notes, turnover dates, your name, and the photos and PDFs you attach are saved only in your web browser’s storage on the device you use. They are not sent to us. If you clear your browser data or lose the device, they are gone unless you downloaded a backup file. Backup files are saved wherever you choose and are not sent to us either.
Calendar reminders and packets
Packets (PDFs) are made on your device. When you add a reminder, the app either saves a calendar file (.ics) to your device or opens Google Calendar with the reminder filled in. If you use the Google Calendar option, the reminder text, which includes the unit and property names, goes to Google under your own Google account.
What we do collect
We use PostHog, an analytics service, to count page visits and simple events like “a property was added” (with its state), “a packet was made” or “a reminder was added,” along with general device and browser information and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We never send addresses, names, notes or anything else you type, and we remove the “#” part of every link before anything is counted. We don’t sell data and there are no ads.
Our web host (Amazon Web Services) keeps standard server logs of page requests, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting, for up to 30 days.
Fonts
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the fonts load.
